I say it's complete bullshit.

You say it's as plain as can be.

until it's your neighbor.

You don't listen, you argue,

and turn to God your savior.

makes you fall to your knees?

Are you even from my country?

Did you come from overseas?

"Out!" You shout without the whole story.

They are hunted, pushed, and belittled.

No matter the cost to keep the law,

you believe there is a score to be settled.

Did you get what you wanted?

With all the pulled triggers with it?

Children kidnapped, beaten, taken from the streets,

adults, dead in hospitals after bombs lit.

Immigrants who helped build us

the "land of the free."

People of all kinds,

the mixing pot we've claimed to be.

So put down your righteousness

and put something better above.

Replace the hate in your hearts

with understanding, empathy, and love.
