I'm taught to not care about innocent lives

as long as they're not human.

I'm taught not to pity the ugly spider

stomped into the ground

or the beautiful butterfly

who lost her wing.

I'll watch as the guilty kill the innocent

on a planet that they already stole

from a world once full of truth.
